A note to our readers

Heads up, Hurler readers. From this point forward, whenever we publish longish posts, only the first few paragraphs will appear on our front page, not the entire article. To read the full thing, you'll need to click on the "Read More" link at the bottom of the post. When you see that link, you'll know there's more Hurler goodness just a click away.

Pujols goes under the knife ... again E-mail

Breaking news today that Albert Pujols will have surgery performed on his right elbow. Whoa ... deja vu. Would anyone mind if I just reprinted this post from last year, recycled jokes and all? Actually, it's a little different this time around. In October '08, he had a nerve relocated. Tomorrow, he'll have bone chips removed. Regardless, it's more maintenance on that troublesome elbow, which will someday require Tommy John surgery. Fantasy managers owning Pujols continue to hope that day will come at the end of a season and not in the middle of one.
