Wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on how he throws this spring, but he doesn't even have a spot on the rotation right now. I ain't buyin'.

It seems as if his career path has followed that of a lot of the PED users: Lights out for a few years, then kinda sad in their attempt to return to greatness. Because he no longer has the velocity, he's screwed himself up trying other things he is clearly not capable of (throwing strikes consistently, for example). Stick a fork in him, I'm looking elsewhere.....

"I felt great" , said Willis. Detroit Free Press said "... enough bright spots to create an overall hue of ambivalence." WTF does that mean? 43 pitches was all it was. He is only 27 years old and may become deep AL only relevant IF he gets a rotation spot. let`s keep the fork in the holster for a little while longer.

When you hear people talk about Willis, they all have positive things to say because he's a good guy and still so young.
Outside the realm of fantasy baseball, I too hope he rights the ship.
He had electric stuff and was very fun to watch pitch when things were good. I think it's a leap to lump him in as a PED user.

I'd be anxious, too, if my once promising major-league career was going down the shitter!

Um, no, Spike, not kidding at all. It sucks for him that this was reported in this way, seeing as it violates HIPAA and all....And it is a very real illness, just ask Zack Grienke or Ricky Williams. It can be extremely debilitating and could be an explanation for the decline his performance. I wish him well and hope that he can recover. At least he has some people to turn to as examples.....Good luck, D-train.....

Ricky Williams might not be the best person to turn to "as an example."

Wishing the best for Dontrelle. If it turns out to have been his thyroid all along, why wasn`t it detected sooner ? Where`s Dr. House when you need him?

Zack Greinke suffers from depression and anxiety disorder and he's the best goddamn pitcher on the planet. So what's Dontrelle's excuse now?

I think Rick Ankiel has a better chance of once again becoming a pitcher with value. Which is like one in a million vs one in 2 million.

......So you're saying there's a CHANCE!!!!
